
Case Study - Manley Peformance

Situation: The owners of Manley Performance Products, Inc. were approached by a large competitor with an overture to acquire the business.

The Company: Manley Performance Products, Inc. (Lakewood, NJ) is a high-performance designer and manufacturer of automotive aftermarket connecting rods, valves, pushrods, pistons, and crankshafts.
​
Assignment: The owners hired Cornerstone Advisory Services to design a transaction process to explore the potential acquisition, develop marketing and information materials to substantiate a market transaction value, to assist in the negotiation of the purchase agreement, and manage the due diligence process.
Outcome: Manley was sold to Race Winning Brands in February 2020. One of the owners retired and one remains the president of Manley (post-closing).
